Ok forget about letting this thread die, I'm in New York on summer vacation. I might as well inform you on the plot.
Setting - Present Time
Location - Unknown
The game starts out staring at the the back of a man in a dark, dusty room. A bright light shining ahead of him. He run towards it getting lost in the trance of the
Gem Clock. This enormous clock, held in the hands of a statue of Kronos, the greek god of time. Ticking, the larger hand of the clock points from symbol to symbol. These symbols seem to be some form of latin, undiscovered to the human race. Yet to this man they seem oh so familiar. He reaches up, and touches the glass case of the clock. He snaps out of the trance, his face still unseen to the camera. He emerges into a long hallway, supposedly the way he had come in. Sunlight at the end of the entrance, he runs out, only to find himself trapped in the past.
The collesseum, in perfect condition, is in an uproar of cheers ahead of him. A gladitorial battle, a violent battle which took place way before present time. Then a loud noise startles him, coming from the sky. Something shiny, its heading downwards. Some sort of bird? It immediately rushes down and flies past him, showing a burst of flame powering the machine from behind. A flying car?
So its the future. But whats up with the collesseum? Why would we ever rebuild it, and why would we immitate the gladitorial battles that disgust us in the deepest condition. Maybe it wasn't rebuilt.
Farther along the man's path, he sees a village. He takes a closer look. Present time houses, present time people, it makes no sense.
Its the past, the present, and the future all in one. So what is it? Why is it like this? What do I do?
The man is inturrupted by a scream coming from the village. More screams. The man runs in to the village, only to find war. Present and past time are having war. It looks like the romans and the villagers are enemies now. The man runs inside a house, in far.
He thinks. What's going on. Was it me? Was it because of the Gem Clock? I suppose so. Well, what do I do now?
--------------------------------------------------
And so, the game begins. The Gem Clock mixed the past, present, and future all into one. You dont play as the man yet, but you do play through a series of characters to get to him. In the mix of time, you will see ancient romans, ancient greeks, ancient eyptians, werewolfs, vampires, modern and futuristic soldiers and people, samurai, zombies, etc. You play through many characters from many events and tragedies in time to accomplish one goal- fix the timeline.
