Lizblizz, just so you know, Truspace 5.2 doesn't have UV Map editing like gamespace does (it was a feature added in version 6) You can still arrange textures on things like cubes and cylinders, but for advanced things like people, you'll need a program to use in conjunction with truespace like lithunwrap before you put the model into fpsc if you want a good texture

Quote: "I tried Pictomd 3d, its a waste of time"
What are you talking about, this program is pretty cool. Look at this simple 1000 vertice action figure model I put into FPSC in a couple of minutes following the tutorial (I don't stand by its functionality, I'm just showing that it works) Granted its not perfect, and its only for "rapid prototyping" its not that bad.

TS5.2 is great, but it's not created with games in mind. You can create high-poly stuff with it easily, but that will not work in games well. Creating low-poly items with TS5.2 will be a challenge. You're much better of with gameSpace if it comes to game modeling.

I use TS5.2 for all of my models (look at my post Free Various Entities) and if you box-model, you can make them as low poly as you want. If you downloaded the demo or tried out Gamespace, then you can see what you get for your money: the interface is completely customizable. You can put nearly any icon anywhere on the screen, and open up three more different view angle windows (ie top, left, front, you know what I mean) and make them inside any position and any size.
The only problem with this is that it makes tutorials difficult to explain because not only can the icons be anywhere, but they're pictures and not actual words. Benjamin has a point about Gamespace being designed with game modeling in mind, but both programs are VERY similar. In fact, if you watch the video tutorials on this page, you'll know exactly how to model inside TrueSpace, despite it was made in Gamespace:

Ok, whatever. FINE. Since you guys are being SOOOOO bitchy, I'll just tell you. It was Pictmode3D, 3DSMAX 8, a LEDGIT copy, by the way, and me wanting to help this worthless, stuckup comunity. since no one wants to except favors like they used to in the EA period, FINE. Goodbye. I see no point in staying here. I dont use FPS Creator cause its a load of sh!t, the comunity sucks balls, and the Dev team (except Lee, he's cool) are stuckup jerks.

Goodby, you stupid morons.

Oh and P.S. Liz, the report doesnt work. I've reported you AND GaymondJ about 10 times each, but the mods are such slobs that they pay no attention.

If i get slapped/banned for this, it'll just go to show how fu*ked up the mods/admin are/is.

You guys suck.

I think you're a good guy, Chris, but you kind of set yourself up for this. When you start off by saying that "I have this great piece of software that I'm gonna keep secret", its pretty normal for people to start speculating on what it might be.

I know of a few programs that do this like Realviz Imagemodeler, and a few others. I've never used them because they seem a bit gimmicky, but hell, if they work then I'm always open to new things. and I personally would like to hear some firsthand experience from people who have used such a program.

Is it so wrong for people to ask questions? Hell, I get DAILY emails from people asking for help with this or that. I would never think of intentionally holding back information just to feel superior.

Hope to see some examples of what you can achieve with your "setup".

By the way, Pictmode3D didn't return any results from Google or Yahoo, is that the right spelling?

Thanks to all who agree with me. Yea, I guess i did kinda set my self up Mark, but honistly. I CLEARLY stated that I wouldnt tell anyone. of course I did, thanks to *ehem* a sertain little whoo whoo. And yea, Liz? You were the most noobish, bitchiest little prick who has been here in my member time. Now, I grant that you have gotten WAY better, but you realy need to back down and look at some of your origional posts.

I'll be seeing you Skitza, I'm off to somewhere where people can do favors without being harrased, pestered and bitched at.

Whats up with all the drama on these forums? This is the internet people!! Why get your panties in a bunch over a comment a stranger has made to you? You most likely wont see any of these people in your life. It reminds me of some sort of Soap Opera.

personally i dont give a toss what chris b uses we all have to start some where and chris has produced some quality stuff in the past

and besides almost half the users on this forum have pirate software or an illegal copy of 3ds max

so frikkin what if its legit or pirate who truly gives a toss

as long as a download link isnt provided thats all that matters

half of the new users in this f**king forum are begging for models on a regular basis and cant be arsed learning the skills for them selves or donating there artwork

they are happy to just take

i could name names but i would be here all friggin day

at least chris donates to this community

omfg the forum serious has gone to the dogs

Here are some models I made when I first started modeling/texturing.
They are a pink doughnut (there is a brown texture included if you don't like pink),an ink ribbon, and a cigarette.
If for some reason you decide to use any/all of these the license is unrestricted. You can use them for whatever you want and you don't have to give me any credit.

hey, thx guys! i stopped working on it for a while, been coding a math program for 1st-3rd graders.
thats what "www.mathskills.org" is. so, ill update my website soon. (ie. snowfall.homestead.com. mabey even get it a domain name O.O!)
Raymond J. can you post the URL for your website of websites? then ill think about letting you use it. other than that have a great night yall!

~Sn0w

[edit] Liz, i use milkshape. theres some pretty sick tutorials out there. i made a zip file of about 20 milkshape tutorials, all fromm the basics or creating a gun from cubes that looked wicked. to create a HL2 looking model with full animation. although i lost it when my fricken computer crashed. ><. basically if you can get the hang of MS3D then it can look just as good as MAX or Maya.
