You should organize your files into folders. It'll make things easier for you to work with, and the user wont have to sort through all the media to find the .exe file.

Will you be able to actually breed dogs? The title kind of alludes to that.

I'll try the demo right now.

Edit:

All I could do was walk around. From what I could tell, you need to make sure sprites don't overlap. The dog would go behind the couch or bed sometimes. I think you need some more features, just my opinion.

Yeah you can breed dogs. I bet I sent the wrong EXE hold on, let me check. No it should work, I downloaded it and it does. To go into leash mode you have to press space. To sleep click on the bed. The couch does nothing yet. Pretty soon you will have to create your dog and a mate and then create the owner. Oh, BTW I am back. Anyhow, really should work, anyone else try the demo?

I downloaded the demo, but when I ran the .exe an error came up saying that I'm missing d3drm.dll. Oh btw I have Vista.

looks good, but the whole scene seems... out of place.
the dog is cartoony, which is great,
but the terrain around it is... not....
other than that, looks good.

Well, people, honestly. You miss d3drm.dll... so, logical conclusion: Google for d3drm.dll - crap people, come on. Can't be that hard.

Agreed with Zeke, it looks good, but the styles don't really mix. Did what you said it did, so I'd say best of luck evolving this!

Oh really? I had no clue I had to do that!

ok now really... I did do that and downloaded the dll and still doesn't work. Go figure.

I suggest you change the background image on the website, it makes my eyes hurt and the text nearly unreadable.

And you don't really need 3 '/' in the website link
