The problem is solved. see my post below.

Old Stuff below:

Theres nothing wrong with the model.
That confused the crap out of me for a while - http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=112023&b=1
It loads fine and everything.
The problem is that when i use sc_setupobject or sc_setupcomplexobject or sc_setupterraincollision on it, the program crashes.

Has this happened to anyone else?
could someone try to run this on their computer?

EDIT: heres the model

I can't fully remember but don't you need memblock/mesh DBPro DLL's included? Put this function somewhere in your program:

A memblock call is good enough I just put something like this:

In the end of my code. You don't need the mesh commands. But yeah, you'll have to make such a call somewhere in your code, or the program will crash.

Sure did. I just pointed out the fact that you only need to use memblock commands

use the sc_setupcomplexobject command, and play around with the Faces per Node parameter. try 2 first, then keep adjusting it to see which one is the best.

I cant download your model because it would take me a year and a half. But judging by the file size, the object is probably just too complex. break it into parts and save each part. Then load all of them, position them in the same place, then try the sc_setupobject on each part.

Dialup? you know what you could do is open up a notepad file, copy the text from the file online then paste it and save the notepad file as an .x file.

I tried that, with the top level and bottom level, but it didnt work. ill try breaking it apart to even smaller sections.

WOOHOO Problem solved!
After all the headaches and frustration, i finally discovered the slimy little bugger. sparky's dll dosent work for x files with folders in them, eg you have groups of objects in your editor (C4D in my case) . I just brought all the objects down to the base level and exported it. worked like a dream
