Hi all,
yes you guessed it Star Flight 2000's DBPro version will be called Star Rogue (for all those interested in SF2000 have a look at http://www.edzup.co.uk/downloads/starflight2000.zip .

I will post the game like I used to (it started out as a star system generator then grew from there to have loads of races an infinite galaxy to explore etc. I hope the new version will be completed (the old one ran into some serious bugs). I will be releasing the source to the old one soon as well (gotta look through me CD's ).

More soon

Hey I can see -a lot- of work here.
I want to encourage you to keep on the good work

I've always been a Star Flight fan, and I like to see new implementations.

One side comment, shouldn't this be at the progam announcements forum?

Nice job again.

Oops probably should be, ive already got star system creation in (still working on some bits) but DBPro's types make it a lot easier than DB Classics tons of arrays (SF2000) was BT (Before types)

I get a runtime error 6 after hitting continue. Maybe it's because I'm using Vista? Can anyone confirm it's vista?

I can run my own 'hello world' code, but his makes me get an error...

Hmmm maybe it's because hello world is 2d but when I make a cube it says i'm missing a dx9dll_31 or something like that. His 3d code runs though! But just up to when I press continue... Weird.

Do I have to install DX9 even when I'm running DX10 on vista? If so, that won't overwrite DX10 will it?

Ah, the joys of Vista.

I do not get any errors when I make a cube, though I do believe that I had installed DX9 previously. I do not think that it overwrites DX10. (Do I have DX10?.......)
