The cursor no longer works on the input statement.

There should be a blinking cursor when you run this program.

Is what difficult?

Anyhow, yes - this looks like an issue. It has been an issue, on and off, for quite a while. However, I believe that it's not likely to be fixed as almost no-one uses the input command, and it's only a cosmetic problem.

Cheek! I use it a lot and it is VERY annoying not knowing which line of text is prompting you for input. Most of the time you know of course, but with a lot of text on the screen you've only got to look away and turn back and the blinking cursor tells you instantly which input request you should be responding to.

It certainly is NOT purely cosmetic.

I really hope this gets fixed because I use it a lot in text adventures, and something as basic as this should work right in DBPro.

Oops. It seems I've touched a raw nerve or two there

Anyway, I've already confirmed it, and as always, it's now up to Lee to fix it (or not )

Hmm... Lee has gone strangely quiet since he asked us to post U7.1 bug reports there and not here so that we can get a really good upgrade.

Perhaps the animation/avi file bug is keeping him busy?

Or perhaps not ...
