That means that "NEW CENTERED TEXT" is not displayed.
Please watch screenshot.
I think that this is related to localizing it.

Looks to do something with 'SET TEXT FONT "MS gothic",128'

rem out the ",128" and do just
SET TEXT FONT "MS gothic"

it WILL print text.

when setting to 128, "SHIFTJIS_CHARSET(Japanese)"
is when it will NOT work for me.

Wouldn't you have to have this Japanese International Character Set installed on your machine for it to print what you want?

No, it's nothing to do with that. The code is correct, what it's doing is wrong.

The first piece of text 'HELLO WORLD' appears correctly - that shows that the font exists and works.
The second piece of text 'NEW CENTERED TEXT' does not appear - the only difference here is that it is being displayed to a camera bitmap.

If you hack out the camera code, that second piece of text will display correctly.

This is a bug IMO.

I still can't see where the bug comes from exactly.

The following code seems to suggest that the problem is connected with the use of the Charset value - some work, some don't.

Since I'm not sure what IS supposed to show, I should add that what I mean by "works" is that some text shows as opposed to not showing.

And why is Charset 129 listed twice - with two different names - in the Help file?

Fixed for the next U73 BETA
