I was looking through the last section of the Model/Media Pack Ideas.....The Master Thread and seen mcattack's post and decided to go ahead and make a Sci-fi pack.

To start off I have been left with a few Ideas for such a pack. For the next two weeks or so, I will take requests for this model pack.

Here are the guidelines I am going by:
1. I have the right to refuse any request
2. NO Character requests
3. You can request weapons, but they will most likely be refused unless I want to go ahead and make such a weapon.

Idea:
WIP:
Completed:

Here is what I have so far for the pack:

Charcter:
zombie retextures

Scenery:
non-animated robots
Scifi chair
Satellites
Gun Turrets
lights
A DNA Computer
A Rifle Barrel
A Rifle Stock
Rifle Tripod/Stand
Rifle Scope
Rifle Firing Mechanism
Rifle Power Supply
Experimental box
SECRET ITEM

?Weapons?
BFG 3000
Sci-fi Combat Knife

Any form of SciFi weaponry, Pistol, Shotgun, Automatic really, its what you basically need for all the Sci Fi projects.

I added them to my list up top.

The reason why Weapons are marked as ?Weapons? is that I am not sure if I want to do weapons, Although I have to admit that I have started sketching some form of weaponry. So on the most part you may at least get a couple of weapons from me.

PS. I forgot to mention that you can also submit requests through the contact form on my website or through the email link provided.

You know what would be a good gun worth being in FPSC? A clone off the famous BFG 3000 from Doom,a bit of a clone.

I actually have a small list of some stuff I'd like to see in a sci-fi pack, but don't have any pics (currently). If you'd like me to get pics, I can definitely scour the web and come up with some. These, as you will see, are all "parts" of a weapon, but not a weapon itself. The list:

A DNA Computer
A Rifle Barrel
A Rifle Stock
Rifle Tripod/Stand
Rifle Scope
Rifle Firing Mechanism
Rifle Power Supply

If you can make them, that'd be great. If not, then it's all good too.

i just might have to attempt that

added them to the list

@Leon Kennedy
Pics would be nice, even if you cannot find them. I could probably find them.

I hope you do a good job at the weapons. You know what would be cool? A totaly disfigured chopped up alien pieces like: "You come into a room, you hear werid growling, you see a big monster run,you go there and you only find a chopped up alien all over the place."

Keep in mind that these are supposed to be parts of a whole, and should not be very large. The effect that is being simulated is that the user can pick these up and have them assembled into a weapon that can be used by someone other than the player.

The rifle I am thinking of for parts is the Mechem NTW-20, and I have attached a pic of it in disassembled form so you can see the barrel, firing mechanism, scope, and stand.

DNA Computer (similar to a tablet pc):

Power Supply (similar to that of a PC):

I have made the edits and currently making a video to show it off. I should have the video upload sometime tonight.

I am going to rename it differently from the BFG 9000, I was thinking of calling it the LFW unlimited. I am calling it that in the video. Comment on the name or post a different one if you want.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I have just started using FPSC,
so i'm totally new to this form of game making.
I have been doing alot of reading in here. Thanks in
advance to everyone who has posted some really great
Tuts and stuff for this program. Now on to my Sci-fi
request. I noticed that in the sci-fi prefabs that there
are hanger bays, it would be nice to be able to put
something in them, such as cargo ships and containers or
fighters or something along those lines. If this has
already been done, could you maybe put in some links to
them. Thank you in adance

Its all right, it was difficult to find an actual picture to work from though.

First off, welcome to the forums Viggo.
Second, I agree, we don't really have a good amount of items for hangers. I have released a spaceship and xplosys has released a spaceship.

I'd like to request some kind of robot. Not nescessarily a character style one, but something with some serious destructive power. It should probably look a bit like a vehicle. Sorry, but I don't have any sort of a refernece pic. I might draw something up in a minute.

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I got your ships, nice work, one would work great in hanger
and the small one works as a desk model. Maybe in a spaceship
factory or such. Thanks again. Still searching for that other.
So much stuff there.

Are you going to post all of these when they are all done?

Yep, when all the models are complete, they will all be put into a sci-fi pack and can be downloaded from my site. Before I forget, The pack is going to be free like everything else on my site.

I am currently working on the rifle parts as of right now. When I finish them all I will post a pick of them together.

Now I have three new lights to show off to you all.

I made this light immediately after the drill one and thought it could add a bit of humor into games.

Here is the status update. I am going to go through and work on the lights a little bit more. then I am going to finish the newest weapon... the Sci-fi Combat knife. After that I will work on some of the robots.

I am not on my computer right now, but When I get on I will make some in-game shots and post them.

Before anyone views these photos, I want to stretch the following fact.

I NEVER MADE HANDS FOR WEAPONS

With that said, the knife actually turned out well but the hand that holds it did not.

You should do an elevator model. You know, to replace the same ol flat, boring lift. Like make it more closed like a real elevator

I apologize for not being around much, but there are more important things that I need to get done.

Now I added the complete list of items to the first post. The pack will be put up for download sometime this week when I have time.

If certain Items didn't make then I am sorry, but I have been put on a strict schedule for this week and have little time to start hitting off on all the models.

The models that didn't make it into this pack might make it into a future pack.

I also apologize for any not so good looking models in the pack.

I will leave you with this picture.

I manage to get most of the important things done faster then I thought I would. I will continue to add new items to the pack and fix things I made earlier to look better. Speaking of which here is an updated robot.
