There seems to be an issue when deleting animations. I use about 15 different avi files for each level of my game and after a few levels are loaded, it will crash back to the editor or desktop. When I run the code below it will work for 180 times around the loop, slow down between 180 and 190 and finally crash with error 2002 - Could not load animation at line 8. Obviously it can load it the first 190 times then it should manage to do at an infinite number of times.

I think this is a pointer not being reset or a memory leak or something like that. Can you confirm please?
(If it helps, it always crashes on the 191st time around the loop)

starthere:
inc poi
if animation exist(1) then delete animation 1
load animation "You Win.avi",1 : rem replace with your .avi here
print "loaded ok ";poi
goto starthere

This code works as expected in DB Classic.
I'm using XP Pro with SP3
AMD Phenom 2 quad core 940 Black Edition @ 3Ghz
2 Gigs of Ram
Ati X 1900 CrossFire Edition (master)
Catalyst version 09.2
DBPro 7_4

Hi
Yes I know, I started the thread. There doesn't seem to be a work around for this yet that's why I posted in the BUGS section. I do hope it's sorted soon though as I can't use animations at all with them in this state :-(

Has anyone found a workaround for this yet?
Seems like an easy bug fix for the boffins who wrote BDPro.
Any info?

Happy 10th btw

Nope, but memory leak is bad.

Edit: I want to ask Lee to fix this in 7.5

I hate shaders...

Very bad. It means that if you load animations into your program you are guaranteed a crash at some stage. Very annoying but easy to fix I would think. (The same with your animation volume bug which I see has now been confirmed.)
