Bullet Physics? Great! I can't wait to try it. Seems Xarshi's havok wrapper is all but dead anyway for the time being!

Yes, it's getting better all the time! I figured out several major problems and now you can see the objects falling and colliding. I'm working on it again tonight so it should be ready for a demo soon.

I have a couple of bugs still to fix before I implement more commands, but 1 and 2 should be fixed tonight:
1. When the test sphere falls it lands on a static box but hovers just above it (like the collision radius is too big)
2. For some reason the position rigid body commands don't work. I think it's the code in the DLL doing this. I will have to study the Bullet docs a bit more.
3. I can't position the DBPro objects via the DLL yet cause I need the DirectX SDK to use Globstruct.h.

If anyone could give me the SDK files I'd be very grateful (I can't really make an effective plugin without them). I think I only need the headers and libraries which shouldn't be too big to upload. Please do!

Aren't they free here?

I've never used the DirectX SDK... I could be wrong!

Yes, they are, but they're ~400mb and I can't download that.

The link you gave is the latest.....I need August 2007 to be compatible with GDK.

Well if you can't download them... we can't send you them, because you would still have to download it.

No, I meant only the necessary files and not all the Microsoft junk, but

1. I have them now (YAY!), and
2. The needed files would have been actually too big to upload, I think.

I am finally back on track with this wrapper but I am stuck a bit with this.

Development will continue but you won't get a demo until this is fixed. I know, it's annoying and you all want a demo and I shouldn't have posted this thread yet but I just couldn't wait.

You will get a demo as soon as IanM or someone who knows replies to that link.

Update! Check the first post.

Development is continuing once again!

WARNING

Development may or may not be slow. I think it will be fast enough to keep you happy but I may (EDIT: ok, will) get stuck with stuff.
