Over the course of the last few weeks, I've been receiving this Application Error every time I go to "Compile and Run" any code I have I'm working on.

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

I've reinstalled from the DBPro full online from my account, and tried to update from 7.4 to 7.7 RC2, and I still get this error.
Even using only a few lines of code.

Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?
Please help.

It's the editor, I believe, but I've tried the NEW DBPro editor, and the Original editor refuses to load the proper DLLs to make it useful. I know the new editor is based on SynergyIDE and I love this one, but even this one refuses to work.

Please help.

Hi,
You can find many answers in the forum about this.
A problem is identified with a recent update on Avast antivirus (for Seven x64 users).
Change it for a few weeks till corrected release...

That's way crazy.
What should I do? Stop Avast and use the IDE, then restart Avast when I'm not.

I suppose I can do that.
It just sounds crazy enough to work! LOL
Thanks Billy33!

Hello Anitarquious I,
Look at these posts in:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=180203&b=1
Stopping Avast protection services is not sufficient. 0xc0000005 errors on compiled .exe are still there.
It is necessary to uninstall AVAST from SEVEN control panel (with LAN network interface disconnected safely). Install and activate your newer Antivirus software (for example free Avira Antivir personal) before enabling your network connection.

Dumped Avast. Installed, upon your suggestion Billy33, Avira.
All is well on the DBPro dev front!

Thanks!

Cheers!
