You're off to a great start. Now it's time to really look at your UV maps and textures.
Look at the wood legs of your chairs. Notice the direction of the wood grain and rotate your texture properly on the map. The grain should run the length of the board, not the width.
In real life, textures are not all smooth and flat. Take a long look at the top of a table and you'll notice that it collects more light at the edges and where there are sharp turns. Try to lighten the edges of your textures to match the edges on your model.
Watch for repetitive textures. Every leg of a chair or table will show a different grain pattern and probably have distinguishing marks or scrapes..etc.
And on the subject of marks and scrapes, use them. It's the damage, dirt and oddities that make models realistic.
Happy modeling.
Brian.
