Diamond Demolition

Jeah my second app is available now, and I hope some of you try it and maybe even write a comment

It is a Gem-matching game like Bejeweld or Candy Crush, but you can swap gems while they fall into place and
you can make as much moves as you like without the need to combine three gems but... but you will see...

Hey janbo!

Not too shabby of a game. Played to level 8, took me a few levels to figure out that I didn't have to wait for the blocks to finish falling to keep moving. I like that element, gives you more strategy.

Only had one issue,

I started playing it in portrait not realizing I should rotate my phone. I thought I was missing allot because there were no icons other than the menu select. Than in game the score/timer board overlapped the game so I couldn't tell what the top blocks were. Took a look at your screenshots and realize to rotate and than all the icons appeared. So maybe lock it to landscape mode to prevent this?

Good stuff.

I got the update and now it ddoes the opposite of before, icons show up in portrait mode but not landscape. :\ Are you using percentage or coordinate system? Just wondering how you set your window up. I found using the percentage system makes it easier to fit your game in any screen size without much trouble. I'm wondering if you can switch the screen ratio in game, dependent on the orientation? That might fix it.

that's strange...

The know issue was that it don't update the borders while rotating the device in-game.
So if you start it in the modus you prefer it works... but now
it's only playable in either landscape or protrait mode?

I could life with the first behaivior but there must be a setting that prevent my app from updating the borders now... am i right?

And thank you very much for your support JLMoondog.

[Edit]
For me it works like before but i don't like it either..

I use Tier 1 and the build in "Export as Android APK" funktion, now for example:
If I choose Landscape for Orientation(I hope I did not) and have "SetOrientationAllowed(1,1,1,1)" somewhere in my code...
What does the app do? will it stay in landscape or will it rotate?

janbo, are you trying to lock it to Landscape mode only? If so, you need to have it set up in your code as follows;

You also need to make sure you select 'Landscape' in the orientation option when exporting the apk from the IDE.
