I'm doing graffiti pack for community right now and ready pack should contain 10-20 different graffitis. I googled these graffitis so no commercial use.

Here is a screenshot of the graffitis I have made so far.

EDIT: Pack is ready! Look for my post where download is attached.

Looking great Nigezu!

I'm looking forward to the release.

they look pretty good, but they all need some more translucency in them... so you can see the surface textures of the material beneath them...

right now they look like cardboard cutouts that are laid on top of the surface...

I dont think there is any copy right on graffiti, seeming its vandilisum to do it. I think you could sell this pack, if you wanted to. But it would be a nice free pack for the free stuff thread.

I agree with Red Ocktober, it needs to be translucent so it blends with the background texture so it seems painted and not layed on top. Then it'll be perfect

Some one should post a tutorial on translucent alpha textures. I need to know how to do translucent images also.

This pack will be free pack and maybe I should chance license so you can use this in commercial products too.
About translucent, I don't know how to do translucent texture and I think I don't have right programs too.

On a side note, do graffiti artists own copyrights on their work?

I mean if some guy scrawls ERF (or something) all over a bus and I take a picture of it, would I need to seek his permission? Or pay him for his "work"? Or is he just a vandal?

I do know though if you download something from google, the photograph you nipped was copyrighted.

Good looking segs though. Truly nice work. The only "problem" is graffiti hardly ever looks that good!

I doubt it, because he doesn't own the wall that he painted it on.

''I was here'', ''you suck'' and 2006'' are seperate graffitis (''2006'' is under that really with graffiti. ''2006'' is really small yellow one.)

EDIT: There is only 11 when I counted them. So I forgot one.

you have to rotate it. It takes some trying to get it just right. Honestly, if you dont put it just right on the wall, it will flash while you are moving around in the game. I suggest just leaving it on the ground. Kinda sucks, but at least then you dont get flashing.

They are very good quality though.

for putting it on the wall,, you use R to rotate left and right, then you can use the number keys 1-6 I believe to change the direction. It takes some playing around with.
