IS there any way to include bump mapping in a level made is 3ds max(LEGAL COPY) from an .x file? (This is in DBP) SBP seems to flatten every texture we try to use this with.

Thanks,
Rick

No you can't, you have to apply the bump map or normal map in DBP.

If your bump map is more of a normal map, you can use either:
DBP's built in bump mapping command
Or use a normal map shader, which can be found in the shader pack found in one of the stickies in the 'Work in Progress' section.

If it's a greyscale bump map
Grab that shader pack, and use the offset mapping shader.
