hi
is it possible to use 2d pictures as models in fps creator?
in "gamemaker" you can import pctures as models so you dont need to
create a 3d model just import

look at this game its 3d and they use 2d pictures
(i modified it with hamtaro pictures)

You can make a decal that is 2D but it will always face the player.

you could just texture a flat 3d mesh with that image and make it an enemy. Make it's weapon invisible and give it a really close range so it hurts you close, but in all honesty FPSC was not built with this kind of game in mind, and if you are truly interested in doing this kind of stylish 2D pseudo 3D game you'd be better off trying something like MMF or even the blitz3D engine.*

Also, this thread is really more suited to product chat, as you are not actually contributing anthing to the progression of models and media in FPSC, you are really just asking a question about the capabilities of the product.

*Yes I know, its promoting non-TGC products, but oddish asked if it was possible, so I'm just trying to help point him in the right direction!

you could easily do that, just make it a decal and use a script to make it come towards you and do damage.

2D models dont exist...Well,actualy everything you see is 2D on the screen, but in a different way it isnt...its kinda complecated...

well anyway You could make a plain with 2 pictures and a script like the Skull.fpi but with an adaption it changes from Alt texture to normal every 0.5 seconds...

alt texture doesnt work on enemys.

just use a decal, it will work just as well, and there is no limit to the ammount you can use at once, as they all remain active, enemys don't.
