Hello this is an upcoming model pack(hopefully soon)
with models for in an tomb or such i am still learning how to
model, so dont expect the best models.
This model pack will contain:
New meshes for segments.
A lot of pots!
A desert like landscape (segment or entity.)
A few pyramids.
New stairs.
A tomb grave that you can walk in.
Also a lot of pilars!
And of course ideas are always welcome!
I will post a few screenshots.
And a little movie.

The pack will be free!

Looks really great, but it looks a bit too hi-poly for FPSC to handle. Is the test-level running smooth?

Yes actually it is running smooth,
But i am testing them out in every way so if their is
only one bug (Frame rate goes down)
Than i'll make them more suitable for FPSC.
But for now they are good enough for FPSC.

I dont know actually what the poly count is from the objects
in the video.
But i am making new objects more suitable for FPSC.

Well actually not yet because i am only showing the model
pack i am making.
When they are ready than i think they need to go to models and media.
and i am glad you liked it!

@zork all the way
The model pack will be ready this week.
I am now working on all kinds of sacrifice furniture.

And this model pack can be used in commercial or non-commercial games!

I will post screenshots in the next post of the new models!

These are some of the new models.
Pictures are ingame no lightmapping.
And they are all put together so i can show them
as fast as i could!

Until now i have made 16 new models 2 are not in the pictures
because i had to resize them.
The most of the models in the pictures are good enough for FPSC.
But 2 models i have to edit them because of the polygons!
Those are the torture coffins.
The rest of them work perfectly!
I still have to edit the textures a little.

Here is the first picture!

V nice but a pentagramshould be in circle, not in pentagon and its lines should have the same length.

The pentagram's lines are the same length and about the circle
that is because of the polycount i didnt want to take a "risk"
that the polycount was too high and i wanted the pentagram flowing good with FPSC's framerate...

But i am still editing the models a little so maybe i could make the pentagon more like a circle.

Thank you that you liked it.

Hmmm... All I can think of are coffins, fountains, vases, jars, shleves, puddles, traps, secret switches, stone doors, ect. ect. huzzah huzzah.

I know, a lot of stuff, but hey? You'd find it in a tomb.

Boom.

I dont know how to animate objects i am trying to learn it
but i find it hard so the stone door and switches i cant make them.
But the trap i can but than it isnt animated so you just have to place a hurt zone on it...

So when the player falls it hurts....

So traps are actually a great idea thanks!

And fountains i have a couple,
Coffins are also a good idea
And vases, jars...ect i dont know how much i have of them
But in a tomb you cant have enough of them...

I have already 10 pilars and 2 huge pilars
But i am still trying to make more...

Thanks for the ideas i shall work on it!

I have made some statues.
It was actually a tutorial for making a low poly character.
But when i saw the pictures i thought of a statue...

I made 2 of each but, the second is mirrored so that they can face
each other...

I know these are not ingame shots thats because i didn't had the time to export them all...

I'll make 4 of each 2 big, 2 small, And each mirrored...

But for now here is a picture!

okey i thought i already have 1 fpsc-ready so why not make a ingame shots!?!

..
Well here are a few pictures.
It is one model but!
I changed it a little so the statue in the tomb-pack will look
a little bit different than the ingame shots...
But you can check it out yourself on the promotion post above this one...
(I think the new ones are better they look like royal warriors or something)
But thats just my opinion.

I hope that you like them!

Oh yeah by the way also on the pictures are new pilars!

Thanks small fish.
I am hoping to release them soon

But i have made a few new tables and i have to texture them so
And 2 more "temples"
Oh yeah and some coffins..
And a few jars and such....
And 2 stairs one broken and the other not....

So actually i have made almost all of the stuff that belongs to the pack....

And i have counted there are almost 60 entities.....

But thats just because some are the same but the one is bigger than the other so i think that there are almost 45 entities...
With a few segments i dont know how much...

Therapy has taught me that nothing is my fault.

Okey the models are all done! Yay!
...
Some of them need to be textured! Noo!

Okey but serious...
Yes they are all done (hey thats twice!)
And like i said some models dont have textures....yet.

The stairs are segments so i need to load them into segment creator
and than maybe resize them a little and if i am lucky they are already the correct size!..(but i think i am not lucky)

Well okey.

But my biggest concern is... is my time.
With school and work...(I have to work today)
And tommorow school...
And wednesday (hope i spelled it right)
I need to go some kind of docter for my leg. (i dont know how you call them in Dutch or English)

Sooo but the good thing is when i have the time the pack is in no time done!

And my apologies for the long working on this pack.
It will be done this week (With weak i mean 1 day or 2).

But now i must get ready for work

So i'll be posting when i have the time.

And of course i hope you like them!

Good for you.
I have to admit when I read the line of your first post
Quote: "i am still learning how to
model, so dont expect the best models."
I thought it would be one of those things which never takes off. But these models are really good. If you send me a few pictures of the models, I will try to texture them for you if you don't have time

<insert pun here> Yes! I Got one.

TGPEG i know what you mean, when i first had the 30 day trial.
I went to the forums without a account searching for free models and still thinking of buying FPSC.

There where a few threads showing models packs free or not free.
And always showing these awesome pictures.
It made me really wait for those models and than....
They didn't release them or no one ever heard of them again...

I bought FPSC with all the model packs (except MP5)when the 30 day trial was over and maybe 3 days after that MP5 was released.
Well i dont know if you know the "Pro-Pack" but that was one of the best model packs that i have seen!
And now you never hear of him again...(wich is to bad actually)

But okey to make it short.....I'll release this pack no matter how.

I started this thread 5 days ago i already had a few models FPSC ready so.

Because i was free last week (Somedays work....but no school)
I could work on this model pack whenever i wanted.
(but i also went outside with a few friends so i didnt worked 24\7)
But now i have school and more work....

But i am glad that the models are done and only a few textures need to be worked on...

And about the learning well....
I am still learning, the most where just projects..

I am glad that you like them.
And it is great that you want to help me.
But i think they are in no time ready!

(and sorry about the long post)

Therapy has taught me that nothing is my fault.

First i want to thank you that you like them.
Because i thought people would hated these models...

But...

There are awesome modelers on these forums.
For example Locrian.(Awesome models!!!)
He makes ecxellent models and after that he releases them for free.
And Butterfingers he made a fully animated character and releases him for free. (Love his models!!!)
And Rolfy his awesome canyon his spiderpack both free.(Spiders!!!)
And there are a lot more.

This is my first model-pack i cant make any money out of this...
I am still learning...so why would i?
And to see people that like your work is like a payment to me.

But again i am glad that you like them.
And it was fun for me to make these.

Okey i have textures the most now only a few left!
But would you forgive me because i am going to sleep...
Because i am very tired and must get early out of bed tommorow...

Well because tommorow i only have school and not work
i am pretty positive about the model-pack tommorow!

I'll post screenshots of the new statues and a few pilars ingame.

And of course if everyting goes as it is planned (actually i dont have a plan)!

Than i think the model pack would be ready tommorow.

And again i am very sorry for it taking so long..

Well i am glad to say that now i only have to resize 3 statues
and than test them!

So the textures are done.

Oh yeah by the way the "promotion picture"
You see some pilars and pots jars and such....
Well i have changed them (a little bit).
They where causing no slow frame rate but just to be sure
i made them less poly...

And also i maybe have to disappoint some of you but i also said
that i'll make a landscape but because i'll be releasing the pack today i dont think i could make one...now.
(But rolfy made a excellent landscape so)

And as for the pyramid i'll be working on it but i think it will be ready when the pack is already released.

But i'll hope that you like them.

Oh yeah and forgot to say.
Anyone that knows of my cave-segments.
They would probably know that the custom meshes dont work
correctly...the give an error when you make a large room.
So there will be segments but not with custom meshes

I am so sorry that many of this pack didn't succeeded
(When i find out how to use custom meshes i'll release an update
that replaces the old segments!)

And as for the meshes that was kind of annoying because,
I wanted to make a game that goes in a cave...
And since the segments dont work.
That game wouldn't work...

I need to edit them just a little but...
Before you dont believe me with this pack...
I have loads of screenshots ingame of almost all models.
Only 2 or 3 not.

So here is number 1
