The only way to use this commercially is through buying the 200$ version? If not, then I can buy it,but if I have to pay 200 to make sellable games,I can\'t buy it. So a response would be great

If you purchase the $200 version, you can sell your creations without any limitations or restrictions. The freeware version allows you to still distribute your creations, but you cannot profit from them in anyway. Selling your products under the Freeware version violates the license agreement.

If you do purchase the freeware version though, you can then upgrade to the commercial licence later on for an upgrade price when you actually have something to sell.

hahaha. Yeah,I'm thinking I'd never really sell anything anyways,so I'll try and get it soon. So is this just as capable as dbp? And would I be able to make use of the ageia sdk in it(not dp,the ageia sdk)? Thanks for all your help people, this may be an awsome move for me

Ageia isn't yet available for both DGDK and DGDK.NET, but this is very likely to change in the near future.

Is it against the license? Cuz I have the sdk installed on my pc right now...I'm talking the actual ageia physx sdk,the one that dark physics was built off of(except I think I have 2.7 or something like that...). I'm relatively sure I can get it to work, but if not,oh well.

Oh, if you're referring to the Ageia physics SDK itself, you'll need to review the licence file associated with it, but iirc, I think they recently made it licence free. Please check this though.

yeah, they made it a free license. But does the license in dark gdk prevent me from making it?

You're free to use the Ageia SDK with the DGDK if you want and can get them to work together: there is no exclusivity contract between the two engines. What Paul means by not "available yet" is the full-blown port of Ageia to natively work with DBPro, which TGC entitled DarkPhysics. That "out of the box" solution is not yet available for the GDK.

I have vague plans for World Domination
