Nice models. Seems like in the first person views the lighting is off, but i think that's just because of milkshape and smoothing...

ignore venge please, except that when you do insert an image straight into a post (displaying it in the post instead of attaching it) make sure to use .jpg or .png so the people with stone age connections don't have to wait

@venge- there was no reason to call him a newb. you're being a newb by lacking manners and telling him off for using Bmps in a .zip file (where it doesn't matter because they get compressed to almost exactly the same size anyway). Unless you do have something constructive to say then please don't say anything. (sorry for the rant, just that you sure gave him a rude welcome)

Heres an m16a2. Hoping to bring out a model pack but it's not coming out any time soon even though the models might be done (texturing in all) the reason is that i don't have FPS creator.

looks good mate, try a combination of smoothing groups applied to the arms and flatten any areas on your gun that wont show that visible smoothing on flat surfaces.

looks like your getting the hang of it.

I would say go back to the acu texture for the arms, because we dont use bdu cammo anymore as we dont fight in the forest. Its all done in the desert now...yes even here in iraq we wear acus. The models look great though just add a bit of smoothing to some of them and they will be good to go.

The air force still wears the desert camo but they are due to change their uniform sometime this year to a digital form. Im pretty sure all the army has already switched over there might be a few units that havent yet though and as far as ive seen the marines have switched to digital to. Its suppost to be a supirior? urban combat uniform, since we do most our fighting in citys now, I still wonder what we are suppost to look like.... concrete?...ya...

Ya we wear gloves, we have all types of gloves ranging from underarmor gloves to artic gloves. The most basic normal gloves are fireresistant Nomex or something like that, heres a few pics

Nomex: http://www.vtarmynavy.com/nomex-flight-gloves.htm

Tactical: http://www.vtarmynavy.com/tactical-gloves.htm

Kevlar: http://www.vtarmynavy.com/kelvar-gloves.htm

Seal skin: http://www.vtarmynavy.com/sealskinz-waterproof--breathable-gloves.htm

Hope that helped

I think the Thompson would be cooler if it was drum-fed
