Running Win98. Test level works fine, only at end on Delete my system freezes and I have to reboot.

Also "Cursor Layer" too far right/corrupts the number. x y are OK

Fine. Update possible. Next question. My user group is heavy into modding. i.e. skins, textures, weapon replacement etc. Is there a small example of the finished product somewhere so I can determine how much the end user is able to tweak? This is a big attraction.

OK I know you see all, know all, so I was able to download "Unknown", a zipped game because that is the format our group uses.

I was disappointed to see every .fp(whatever) available for tweaking. Knowing how much our members love to "treak, monkey with, adjust, whatever", I would need some way to lock/encript the files necessary to maintain the integrity of the game, while also being able to release the less than critical files for "adjustment".

The users manual does not go into detail and I cannot access the build option without buying, so if this is not available, then I am not interested (at this time).

OK Here is another thought.

Does FPSC create a log that specifies all the files used to create that particular game? Or better yet, a log of all the files in the "Files" that are not used in that particular game, so they can be removed to lighten the download weight. Or has some bright light already made such a tool?

First of all there is a media encrytion tool called Vishnu.
Search for it.
If you are look8ing for a full game in FPSC that shows of its capabilities search the Showcase forum for "Darkest Island".

Vishnu would not allow people to tweek "less than critical files for "adjustment". It encrypts everything in the game. Allowing access to some files and not other is something Vishnu will never do due to security. It's not even on the boards for any future releases.

Is there any lag or loss of performance for the player when playing a Vishnu protected game Locrian?

I guess I misunderstood what he was asking.I thought he was wanting to protect all of his files...not just some of them.My bad.

No Komet there isn't. Most of Vishnu's functions take place before the game starts, like checking for programs that run that aid in cracking software, disabling keyboard functions, etc. There's very little(though some that I wont talk about) that runs "real time". The same frame rates were experienced in FPSC games with and without Vishnu. If a section of a game dropped to 28fps without it, it stayed at 28 with it in that section. Great care and balance was taken in testing it's real time functions as to not interfere with cpu speed.

Sorry bout the semi off topic responce W.O.E.

Thanks guys. Questions still not answered but new info registered.

Next questions. The game I currently make missions for allows for teams i.e. you and some others to attack enemy stronghold of multiple members. Is FPSC strictly one on one?

Also allows for a team member to traitor (change sides).

Read the showcase post for "Darkest Island". Continual reference to "the latest direct x drivers". I mean no offense, just trying to shine the light of reality here, but I represent a group that actively resists the necessity to chase the techno-train of the geeks and be constantly upgrading to play their so-called masterpieces. There is a great big world of PC minimalists who don't even know you exist, and probably don't care.
I'd be willing to up to win2000 but I hate XP with a passion. As a result, any games I made would run on any win2000 or better system. A word of advice. Do you want to wait years for mass recognition, or do you want instant feedback?
Plus, 1/4 gig. That's a long time at 56 for something that might work.
