The new theme, from our winner Greenlig, is 'Steam Powered', which basically means anything that falls under that category can be modelled, perfect for any of our Steam Punks out there. It could be anything from a steam punk pilot to a fully functioning steam fly machine.

Rules are normal, you can head here to view them, I am going to update the following thread with the next challenge and add the entry thread later

Normal Rules and Requirements thread:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=77479&b=3

No poly limit, no texture size limit, be free.

Time Limit: 3 weeks. It's extended from the normal one. Steam Powered can pick up some pretty big models, only fair to allow people the time for that freedom.

Good Luck all.

I'm going to enter this one. I like the idea of steam powered stuff, but I'm no expert or hobbyist at it, I just think its cool.

Steampunk is a theme I can get behind. Given three weeks, I might even be able to get something finished.

Right, I've begun work into idea 1, if it turns out bad, I'll go for something else, it's not much so far, but I'm going for a steam powered flying machine.

I think this is the best challenge you guys have had yet.

I looked at the links 'el zilcho' posted. I'm a little confused on how a steam-powered fish would work.

With snorkels?

Of course, if you want to be a stickler for details, nuclear attack submarines are also steam powered.

My first stab at a steam assassin. Hopefully, I'll have time later this weekend to come back and work on it some more.

I just remember something, the robots in Thief 2. Anyone who's played it will probably know what I'm talking about.

Well, I did start something, but then Max decided to lock up and I had nothing auto-saved. On top of that, restarting the PC someone uninstalled my network card.

Those sort of things are annoying, had it happen to me a couple of times in Hexagon, it's even worse when its your best head model, that has good geometry and is anatomically correct.
