I realise that this error has been discussed before but this might be interesting. My program is called Invaders Multiply and can be downloaded free from www.freewebs.com/robslearningfun. In my class in the school where I work I have 8 supposedly identical PCs. On 6 of them the program works fine but, on two of them I get error 31 unless I log in as an administrator.
I can't let the children log in as administrators so I can only use this program on 6 of the PCs unless I can find an answer.
Any ideas?

The obvious suggestion would be that the PCs are not indeed identical - at least it would seem in the read write permissions. This might be a place to start.

Enjoy your day.

Thanks Latch. I've found one in another class that does run and one that doesn't, unless I log on as an admin.

I'll get on to Edinburgh council's expert team to see if they can help with the read write permissions.
