I spent about 2 months making a demo to find out it wont work on my friend's computer's who don't have FPS installed. At first I thought it may have been the copy I burnt for them, but it works fine on my computer.
Two of my friends did mention that when the put it in their laptops that the error message changed from "error, must shut down" something dealing with a license. Is there a license needed to play the FPS creator on a computer that doesn't have FPS installed?

No...

Just make sure you not only include the .exe but the entire folder if you haven't done so already... apart from that I don't know what it could be

They don't have direct X 9.0 C december edition. Search for it, and upgrade their direct X.

Yay I got FF XII, and it totally rocks! Love the new battle system
