The segment editor that TGC released a while ago isn't working for me. Whenever I try to drag the mesh the editor crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this? If not what are some alternative free segment editors? I know there's Signs and Magic but are they free?

Thanks
Duke

It's your video card. Had the same thing happen to me on another machine. I'm betting the comp your try to use it on at the moment has built in graphics.

As for alternative, I use Signs, and own MagicFPS(but never use it) so I can't help ya there.

There is a lite version of Signs and a demo version of Magic FPS available.
While I use both I generally do use Signs to make segments.
Why jack around with the segment creator which is an internal tool designed by TGC for the engine when you can get an application that will do it in seconds?
Do yourself a big favor and get Signs.
You won't regret it.
You can find it and other neat stuff here.
