Hey everyone, I made this Bamboo Sword like 30 minutes ago. I don't know what to do with it. Can some of you give me ideas. I would make it as a weapon, but I don't know how to animate it yet .

Here are some screenshots:

oooh I get first post, yay, It looks good, very nice textures. You should make it as and object of some sort, or put in in a pack because if all your models are like that, I'd buy your pack.

Unfortunately, you will have to post a screenshot of this ready in FPSC, or else it will be moved to 3D chat. Please take some time to read the stickies at the top of the forums.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, you do not have to animate the sword for it to be a weapon. Rather, it need only be added as a limb of a character, and then your there. More or less. But then, I think to myself, this was moved from the fspc thread... what requirements of a model does such a program have for it to be a weapon? I know not.
Nice sword!

I does not need to be a animated; but for a melee it would look sooooo bad non-animated.

Also attach to what limb? it's a FPS; your just a screen that floats around with a model there.

The model is actually really good it's lol poly and I like the texture.

good work

you can only use entitymaker to make the pickups. To make the gun (sword) is a long process. Check out freds animating a gun model in ms3d tut to see how to animate it. For importing it; there is a tut in tutorial city I beleive.

Good luck
Tyrano
