Crikey! A suprisingly positive response for the product of a single evening.
I like the suggestions that have come forth and will try to impliment them in the next build. I can't do any coding this weekend because I have got friends coming over. So, sometime next week I will see what I can do.
I have already implimented VanB's suggestions. I had half an hour spare this morning so, I scanned a piece of paper and a coffee stain. I did them seperately so that the coffee stain planet can appear in different places.
I also drew an enemy ship with red biro and got it following several waypoints. No bullet firing or collision detection on it yet though.
I like the idea of a pencil and eraser for hyperspace. That might make it in.
The no-spawn radius is a must. That will get in when I have chance.
A work collegue suggested that the ship could fall into the ring binder holes. That's a maybe. I don't think it will add much to the game play.
High Score charts (maybe online) will be added and support for joystick play. After that I think we can call it a finished product
