It's looking awesome dude. Great particle effects and visual style. The gameplay looks like it's still in early stages, might want to smooth out the movement a bit so that you don't get stuck as easily between grid spaces.

Hey, I tried out bomber man for the first time on the Wii the other day, and I loved it! So far its looking really great, and the explosion effect really is nice. Anyway I wish you all the best, and if you want help getting it online, Id be more then happy to help you out with it. (Especially because the player amount is low and the data being sent is hardly anything ).

Cheers.

brings back old memorys on the snes...games looking real good. though i'd suggest doing a grid based movement system. where when you press a directional button once, it move one square in that direction(at a certain speed of course), so it's more like the original, and will make for better controls.

thx for all your comments

@Moondog : nop, in the original game( on SNES), the player don't move one square if you press on a directional key. It's a kind of sliding collision system

the game progresses very well!
a new video that don't show some progress but not all the features...
The compression of the sound is bad and there is a small shift of the sound at the end of the video

i don't like the video quality of youtube >.>

this is a bonus that allow you to hit the bombs and make them bouncing^^
an another bonus allow you to kick the bombs and make them sliding
But be careful! Some bombs explode at contact... (they are easy to find)

it looks really good even though it is mostly likely copyrighted I'm sure you can do a remake. Especially since it's a free web game as you said. It looks go0d, and it's coming along nicely.

a version of the offline game soon!

actually the game supports joystick gamepad, keyboards and mouse and you can play with 10 players (if the map can accept this amount of players) on the same computer ! (the most i tried was 5 players with friends, it's very cool )

if added a lot of things

Looking great, I love Bomberman .

Incidently, the ZX Spectrum, MSX, and some other old 8-bits hold the crown of Bomberman pappa - Bomberman is based on an ancient speccy game called 'Eric and the Floaters' in the UK - released in 1983.

Nice game. The effects are cool, and the menu is well done. The collision is a bit strange though, for example if you press down while above a block, and try to move to the left or right, you can't. Besides that, I like it.

Any plans to add AI?

not at this time but later
the collision system help you to move the player between the block. So i you press a move key, the player will be slowly decaled to the good position

3 new videos! the character is now animated. I hope you will like it

It looks friggin´ awesome! But I really think that you should change the character sounds and not use sounds from worms. And why does the bombermen say "grenade"?
