so insightfull butyouman? why did you even repond?

@bigbossam

First you need to make sure that the files are in the Directx (.x) format. Then you need to create the .fpe file for them. If you can prove that they are yours I will help you import them. it should be very easy..

Cheers,
RF

Reeaaaall easy dude. Real easy.

@Reality Forgotten, dude, I'm not being stupid, rude, idiotic or dis-respectful, but does it really matter? If he doesn't use them commercialy, it should be cool then?

No it's not cool. People like you, with your thought process, are the reason Vishnu was made. That "I'm not selling it but, just giving it to my friends" mentality. It's stealing. There is no inbetween. No grey areas. Either you have the rights to the media or you don't.

Once you start making your own media and seeing how long it takes to get decent at it first off, then how long each piece takes you, you'll sing a different tune.

Cool it dude...I was just saying its allright to have media in your own personel collection. NOT to give out to anyone else.

Im sure you have pirated something in your life. At least once.

Nope....never ever. Last time I stole anything was as a child. A Star Wars figure. That would have been around 79, and way before computers. I didn't get caught for it, but I was so scared I never shoplifted or stole again.

So I've never ever pirated anything online. And just because I have stole at one time, dose not make it right for everyone else. It was wrong when I did it back in 79.....and It'll be wrong in 2009.

Like I said...
There are no grey areas....In your own collection or not. If it's not used in the way it was intended by the author....It's wrong. End of story.

Case in point: Candle needed a retexture for the bond character pack female. I wouldn't do it, as much as I would have liked to, because I didn't own the pack. Him even giving me the model so I could use it wile texturing is wrong. So I gave him a model I made instead. So Candle got what amounted to a 30-60$ custom model(because no one but me has it) because I was going to do the right thing. I'll screw myself before I'd screw another.

I don't just talk the talk....I walk the walk.....My moral compass is never ever in question around here.

PS: Telling me to cool it dose very little.

Smith...or whoever you may be...(it may be I know your little secret)
Is there any particular reason you wish to annoy people?
The fact is...and this is the policy of the FPSC mods...that if you did not make media you don't post it.
RF obviously does not want to help export stolen media so he wants to make sure the media was made by the poster in question.
A wise idea.
It is not okay to pirate stuff and there is no "gray" area.
Either it is yours it is not.
Something can not be "possibly" or "halfway" yours.
We here in the FPSC forums take the issue of piracy very serious.
Now try to quit being a "pest"...you know what I mean.

My little secret? Do you now? I swear thats the last time I tell my ex anything..(Stupid IP's..)

I don't know why I annoy people Fred. Maybe its that little "pest" that lives inside of me. I dunno. Or maybe its my veiws on how this place is being run have changed.

I wasn't insinuating he posted it, just if he was going to use it on his own. Private fun. But yes. I agree now. Stealing is wrong. My bad, won't bring it up again.

Yes. I'll stop being a "pest" and start counting my blessings..1,2,3...4,5,6 you know what I mean.
