it looks cool except for 1 thing:

on the 'sundown' screenshot, is that bright yellow ball supposed to be the sun? you need to move it further away from that village, or they gonna fry!

I really have to say that this will be one of the rpg's to look forward to in the months to come.

I do agree with sicjoshsic about the sun being really close, but other than that I like your idea of walking in the building, and having a 2-d view.(I wish I'd have thought of that)

Keep up the good work and we will have a very nice looking project coming.

I would get a bigger grass texture, looks very stretched, and your sand doesnt seem to tile right.....hmmmmmm. Same with the rocks.

He said they were replacments . Do I sense some friendly rivalry?

I'd change the screen mode to look a bit better... I dunno about you, but everything looks a ton better with Fullscreen Exclusive for me.

Other then that, it's looking quite good. Impressive!

Gettin jealous now that you have a contender. I don't wanna know how you'll act when my new world map for mine and Evad's game has screenshots for my world map.

kinda think of it, there's quite a few teams/soloists that are developing RPGs currently. 2 ideas struck me:

1. Why dun once everyone's finish, lets all soloists & teams make one MMORPG. Who wanna vote to be the Captain?

or

2. Lets set a date at the end of this year/early next year, to have a DBP RPG Compo, so just need to work on it now, and submit it in the compo soon

Wait till you see ED revamped, heh heh heh

Well if those are placeholders than no problem. Yea, the sun needs moving, and a new sky texture. The water just doesnt quite get me yet......

Rpg,

Your water freaks me out from the screens i've seen. Everything is dark and gloomy then BAM!!!!!! this bright as hell water......
scares the living hell outta me.

But yes that would be cool if all the tops programmers of each area (maps, battles, ect..) got together and did one big MMORPG. that would rule... but lets do that for realese in 2004 christmas.
