How do I take out the lives image/numerics? I don't have DDS Converter, only MS Paint. How do I do it?

Sorry for the noobish question.

You can get DDS converter here http://www.dsabstraction.com/dds_converter.htm

If you look in setuplevel.fpi under languagebank you will find this code

I believe if you remove this, it will take out that perticular hud.

Please keep in mind, I have not tested this, so I am not 100% sure.

Well, even though this isn't fool-proof, and is noticeable, I have a step-by-step tut of "taking away" lives:

First, write down the X, Y coordinates on a slip of paper so you'll be able to put lives in.

Step 1: Erase all numerics and images X, Y coordinates, and replace 'em with zeroes.

Step 2: Preview the HUD so you can see if you want it like that. If not, replace the zeroes with your coordinates you wrote a few minutes ago.

Step 3: Continue your game-making stuff, but save your changes first.

Please comment on this little tut.

Don't delete anything. Just put a ";" in front of any line of code dealing with a hud you don't want.

Heh...Write stuff down?..Kidding right? Never tell a new guy to delete anything. Period
