This might be a dumb idea, that is why I am posting it here and asking you to please forgive me first.

I want to make conversation huds between NPC and my character more dynamic. I want to be able to ask the NPC's questions and get a predesigned reponse back and I figured this would be great use of flash. Have any of you considered editing the source in order to add flash capabilities? Would this slow down FPS? Or do you think I should try to create this just using darkbasic and implementing this feature into FPSC_Game.dba (I have no clue where to start really) Just thinking outload I suppose.

It is a great idea but it would be hard to make in FPSC.

yeah you might post a request for somebody who knows how to
transport code... you know and somebody who is famiiar with FPSC

Flash would be great for FPSC. It's file sizes are smaller, and so many mods could be done with flash.

Just don't think it would ever see the light. Is anyone aware of any other game that used Flash within the game and have any links? I'd love to do any reading on it.

You wouldent need flash to do what your asking.

You can do it with scripting, youd need a different script for every conversation, but that really wouldent matter because FPSC copys ALL scripts in the scriptbank over to a built game anyway.
