Don't know how many people have found this out as I have a tendoncy to skip long amounts of time from the forum and miss stuff, but I've noticed you can only use 1 Lightmap at a time. As a matter of fact, you can only use 1 Blendmap at a time. The really wierd thing to me is I swear I had it working once before, but now it won't. I'm running a PCI (unfortunetely) GeForce 4 MX (I got it cheap) and as far as I know that and an addition to the amount of RAM on my computer are the only two differences since I last tried this. Check out my source at the bottum of this post to see the code I've been using. You will need to create 3 different textures. Back.bmp which is the background and A and B .bmps for light maps. I have tried this and both plains will have A's written on them.

No - it works fine on my computer.

I'm using an AGP Radeon 9000 Pro, and I can see two different textures on the plains.

hmmmmmmmmmm.......... very strange. Must be the GeForce card then. Strange it doesn't happen in games though. I get 2 A's. I'll check again. Are you using Fullscreen or any type of windowed mode? I don't see how that could be it, but it's worth a try.

I'm goint to try some stuff... btw, screen modes has nothing to do with it. My bad.

thx for the reply

Yeah, I have the same problem as you, wendigo :-s
Both plains have an "A" on them and I also have a GForce 4 MX.

brb...

After testing on my laptop with an S3 Savage Pro I got exactly the same problem so it's not an issue with just Geforces.
Do you think Lee knows this?

Take care

Hang on, I've just remembered - I'm still using the trial version, which I believe is the same as patch 3. So it could be a bug that was introduced in the DBO system along with patch 4, and not anything to do with the 3D card.

Oh wonderfull, well, seeing as I've been working hard on a lightmap calculator and am almost at the point that I need to use more than one lightmap, I sure as heck hope that patch five fixes this and also that patch five comes really soon. Thanks for the info guys.
