I'm looking for any advise on 3D model packs. Such as where to buy them etc.

I would be looking mainly for level prefabs, such as crates, barriers, trees, huts, fences, etc. World War II stuff, Industrial,
things like that.

Are there any companies that specialise in these kind of packs?

I'm not looking for character packs, as for my course I will be creating the characters myself. However I do not need to create the prefab stuff, and want to streamline my time, by using prefabs.

Help ( please. )

I've got a WWII Pack available right now. There are 3 versions; FPSC, Torque (currently on sale), and Generic. All versions contain the .3DS formated models as well. Hope that helps you out.

Here's a link to the store page.

Also check out our Freebies section here, and on the forums.

Cheers, thanks for that.

Funnily enough your site was one of the few sites I have already found and bookmarked to return to and purchase from( the other was this:

http://www.unleash3d.com/fpscstore.html

)

I will certainly be taking advantage of the low price and good quality of the models available on both these sites...

But I need more !

I know everyone wants something for nothing, but I find that sometimes it's worth paying a small amount to get that little bit of extra quality.

So if anyone else is reading this and knows where I can get some prefab model packs that I can throw into 3D World Studio, I'm sure the links will also be useful to others.

Thanks

I can vouch for the Urban Pack on Unleash3D as being high quality (I have a copy of it) and worth the money.
