I have a project written in VB that needs a better (faster) graphics component. DB seems to have what I need in that department. However, I want to retain my VB.NET code for all the non-graphical elements (considerable) for my re-write. For teh most part, the .NET code needs to tell the graphics engine what needs to be drawn. Other than having DB call external .DLL (my VB.NET code) and exchange data via DLL parameters and return values, does DB provide other mechanisms for interfacing (real time) with external code that might be more robust and easieer to work with than DLL calls?

Thanks for the help.
