Here's something which might be useful if you're using particle effects. Instead of loading an external image, simply use this code to generate one:



That'll create a 32x32 circular glow bitmap that you can use as the image in your particles. I'm sure there's a far more efficient way of drawing this, but it's useful anyway. Enjoy!

I was actually thinking more about this kind of particle:



I've changed the j loop limit value to 14, because after viewing Quoth the Raven's program the image looked a bit square, so I've made the circle smaller so it looks more circular.
