okay, car #3, this time I'm making the low poly version first, so people can actually use it.

I almost have the body done, then I just have to make the interior and tires. And of course, the texture.

Then I will be releasing a pack of the model and 5 (or 6?) textures in different colors.
here's a pic as rendered in dbc. The poly count is pretty close, blender says it has 1200, not really sure where the other ones went...

Ok, I'm having some issues with blenders' .x exporter. It's not exporting the texture, so the windows aren't transparent either..

okay, I figured out why the texture wasn't showing up. I was using the dbc 3d model viewer example to look at the models, and it doesn't texture them automatically.

Here's an updated pic , I still need to make the interior.
The front and doors are uvmapped, the rest looks weird because it hasn't been uvmapped, so it applied the entire texture to each face.

okay, it's done (yay!)
However, transparency really wasn't working, so there are no windows, and the headlights have no texture. Anyone is free to add these/ change the model however you wish.

Here's a pic showing off all the colours.

EDIT: Yes, they are all number one.

And here's the zip with model (between 2k-4k polys, I don't remember) and 6 colors (as seen in above pic)
Enjoy.

car pack..hmm
It would be mostly american cars I think, unless I can find a lot of reference pics, maybe suggestions from forum members?

I don't program, so I'm not going to make a game. I made this model specifically for Chris Franklin_ in his game, but anyone can use it.

I don't really care what you do with the models , but what use would it be in fpsc? are you going to shoot it ?

Have you seen my sig?
I think it's been sig-napped.
