Hi, (from a newb)
For some reason when I run darkBASIC programs, the screen goes all weird! It flashes wildly black and white.
Although it doesnt happen when I run 3D commands, It only happens when there is 2D on the screen!
And worst of all I can't program in 3D.
I can't program at all. (except for the basics, print, cls, ink ect.)
Please help!!

Thanks!!!

Use a CLS command at the start of your program, that should clear the problem up.

I forgot to mention the clear square around the cursor.

Thanks!

Sync On: Sync Rate 0: CLS 0

Use this line as the VERY FIRST line of your program and the problem will go away. (You can set the Sync Rate to whatever you want if you don't want 0).

This was a common problem with earlier versions of DBC and Windows XP, so if you are using a version earlier than 1.13 then upgrade!
