I have made a simple floor (a rectangle floor with a hole in it)with Google Sketchup.

It loads and displays fine when I use "phy make rigid body static box obj" but I can't fall thru the hole in the floor..
So,i tried "phy make rigid body static mesh obj".But, when I do I can't use the following code

make object cube 781, 35
position object 781, 101, 170, 250
phy make rigid body dynamic box 781
texture object 781,2 ..

because it does not like a dynamic box sitting on a static mesh.
I have tried setting skin but it does not help.

Code is attached. It is test code to tryout sketchup and dark physics..

If I recall, the default collision is spheres or cubes (forget which).

Set collision to polygons with set object collision to polygons

set object collision to polygons does not help

The problem is:
phy make rigid body static mesh(my floor with a hole in it) and phy make rigid body dynamic box(a box to bounce around)
do not like each other.

Note:
'CONVSEO' takes google sketchup objects and converts them into darkbasic objects.

YOU CANNOT PLACE A DYNAMIC OBJECT ON TOP OF A MESH........

Thats odd, I had pretty much the same problem and setting object collision to polygons is what sorted it (hence why I suggested it).

Can you provide the models too

I haven't really dealt with your situation or used DP for very long but maybe one of these commands

Mesh

phy make rigid body static mesh object

phy make rigid body static mesh object, material

phy make rigid body dynamic mesh object

phy make rigid body dynamic mesh object, material

phy make rigid body static mesh object, file$

phy make rigid body static mesh object, file$, material

phy make rigid body dynamic mesh object, file$

phy make rigid body dynamic mesh object, file$, material

phy load rigid body static mesh object, file$

phy load rigid body static mesh object, file$, material

phy load rigid body dynamic mesh object, file$

phy load rigid body dynamic mesh object, file$, material

Here I am But am not here, there you are not really there.
