As my title asks, are there any plans to release new model packs for fpsc? or is everything going to be focused on x10?

Thanks

I think fpsc models will work on x10, or vice versa.

Bond's fantasy pack is pretty much a done deal with TGC.
He did model packs 2 and 4 and it is my understanding that he is making this fantasy pack as an official TGC model pack.
Nothing against the other modelers who made the other two weapon packs, but TGC model pack or not,EAI's weapon pack will blow theirs away...no pun intended.
Whether they are "official" model packs on not makes no difference to me.
I am buying both of them.
As long as we continue to pay for them I guarentee TGC will keep churining them out...and now that you can use them in DBP as well is an even bigger source of revenue for TGC.

Yes, bond is amazing that is true. I wish he would do more real life characters. The guy is just sharp! I will buy both of them as well. Those two packs 5 & 6 were very nice, I just don't need any more weapons until they get particles integrated into one of these systems... then wooo dogy

This is probably a strange question, but does TGC just buy the rights to the packs or do they split the money they make off them with the designers?

i think the weapons are getting old...

well, ,maybe not even weapons, but modernday weapons. the fantasy pack is cool, but i dont know how well that will go over. i know i would definatly buy a scifi pack, with mechs and scifi guns....

i think the theme packs are a good idea...like mp3 and bonds fantasy pack..but modernday stuff is really old...

Better furniture and more segments that match would be nice. I wish I had 1/10 your guys talents for 3d and artistry instead of wasting my time to become a webdeveloper. I am just in awe.

What did you expect? The guy has worked on art that went into shipped Playstation games (including one of the James Bond titles). I think EAI's Pack will be the modern weapon pack to end/own them all.

Don't shortchange yourself; webdesign/development is something I'll be aspiring to soon.

I should really get back into 3D myself....it's been way too long.

If FPSC X10 will include new stock media then TGC should employ EAI as the lead artist. No offence to TGC lead artist.

No offense to anyone here or to TGC, but if he was working for these companies, why on earth would he be running around here. He should be out somewhere making the big bucks. The guys is freaking way overly talented. Not that I am sure we don't all appreciate having a great artist like thim lying around.

He's running around here because he's an artist and not a coder. He's using FPSC like a resume. What better proof of your work then to see it in game.

If any of you guys remember Errants version called "evil Akio" he did for a members game, you'd all be seconding that motion for tgc to hire him outright...or at least contract him to do work. His making the back pack deal on Akio into the hood for her fur lined coat was absolutely brilliant, and looked tons better then any of the stock characters.

Light the candles now!! We shall all pray to the EAI deity......

If fpsc was better at handling why open areas, I would love to make a fasntasy game, heck I would be commisioning artists to design characters and landscapes. Here is to hoping that the x10 is more adept towards this area.

LOL this thread is makin my ears (eyes?) burn. Curse my early mid-life crisis for bringing me to this place.

Anyhow, my understanding is that TGC either outright buys or resells (their choice) media that is made available to them. That means that there is a lack of landscape media, then it is because none worth selling is being offered to TGC.

If my media is met with decent success, then I will look into doing enviromental media and other stuff. I have a lot more experience with that than with weapons but it's also really unexciting.

You can be sure that Bond's fantasy pack will be for non-X10 as well as X10.

It's a lot more fun to make a weapon that will kill someone than a peaceful grassy meadow.
We could use some landscape variety, though.
The problem is that while FPSC is getting better there are still some issues with outdoor levels.
Just from looking at your work I can tell it doesn't matter what you make I will like it.
Make sure you sell me the weapon pack when you get it done.

I know what will be in the pack.
There will be models in it.
Come on,guys...TGC is never going to quit making model packs.
Because we keep buying them.
And now that the license has changed even more model packs will be sold.
So if the next model pack isn't your flavor the next one might be.
As far as Bond's,Jon's or Errant's WIPs go even if they don't become TGC model packs we are still going to buy them...they are that good.
I have bought Bond's and Jon's stuff before and Errant has post some of his and I have been more than happy with their work.
Now if I can just find my girlfriend and sneak my wallet back...
