No mention to your machine specs(can you comp run Vista easily? What kind of GX card are you using?)....No mention of your software specs(Are you updated with latest DX?, what version of FPSC are you using? Will Laura ever take Evan back?(nm....soaps).

Really incomplete thread allows me to answer this honestly when I say: "No, no one can help you with your problem."

I've got Vista on my machine and although FPSC isn't strictly working at the moment, Vista isn't the problem for me. The Map Editor loads fine and everything, so it's not a generalized problem.

Anyway, you've updated to V105 right?

Well, it may not be directly effected, but your graphics card is quite old and weak by now, and I have heard that especially older Radeons tend to have problems with games and programs.
1GB of RAM may be enough for Vista, but another Giga is very recommended, especially since Vista often consumes 512MB-1GB.

I'm not sure, but there was talk about DirectX 9L, which was supposed to be the DX9 for Vista, ment only to play older stuff that require DX9.

That may be a bit pessimistic. I've never had Vista itself (as in, with no RAM hungry programs open) go over 40 or so percent of my 1GB, let alone use up all of it. Actually, I don't think my RAM's even reached 100% at all, though my CPU meter has clocked out at 100% a couple of times (with a 3.1GHz CPU).

well, I would honestly say my money's on the 9200 SE, I've worked on one fo those before and I have to freely and hnestly admit that they are utter junk for Graphic intensive applications,
If I'm not mistaken, that is a DX 8.1 Card and has been known to give prooblems on some of thelater revisions of DX 9 .

I would definately recommend upgrading that and it shoud cause your problems to dissapear , along with bad pixelated graphic.

Take that 9200 and snap it in half (show us a picture of it wrecked!), it's a worthless piece of antiquated pain that you should expunge from your PC and your life. Seriously you'll get nowhere without a card that can cope with FPSC, like a FX5600 or 9800XT at least.

Hell, go spend £25 on a FX5200 if your on a budget, at least that will let you experience shaders if not blinding speed.

I wouldn't run FPSC with XP on a 9200, let alone Vista.
