Hello users,

I'm trying to get going with my first level in FPSC. I have the geometry done and most of the entities are there, just need some characters and give a story to it.

The problem is: when I try to test the level (which takes a long while at this stage) the application crashes while trying to initialise the physics. Debug extra info: 0 0.

I really have no idea what's going on. I tried to set most of my entities to static mode (since it always crashes with the physics) but that didn't solve the problem.

I got all model packs installed and running ok. When I try to playtest some other levels works fine.

Help anyone?

Thanks a lot.

PS. Sorry, I forgot:

I\'m using 1.04 and my system specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 (42000+)
GeForce 6800GT (256Mb)
1Gb Memory
Windows XP

I'm not using any effects yet. I only have quite many entities (just enough so it doesn't lag) and lights. I really haven't got a clue.

Thanks for the response!

Well, I ran into exactly the same problem , it turned out that it was an entity that had a problem with it and the build crashed when it tried to load the entity.

There are also some proven ways of achieving this,
Adding a projectile weapon, like a law or grenades and trying to test a arena level , will give this to you.

Also adding a weapon from a model pack requiring an upgraded 1.04 version of FPSC , without having the actual upgrade installed will definately cause the same problem.

Hope that helps
