I want to make a sphere chain like in the Advanced Machinery demo, except i dont want the crane part... I want the top sphere to be controlled with the mouse using the PICK SCREEN command. But...... i cant position a PHY object, and if its not a PHY object i cant make the required joint..... Anyone know how to achieve this?

Look in the demo's
Projects\Dark Physics\Demos\Rigid Body\Kinematic Objects

basically you just assign the object

Quote: "` create third dynamic box and make this one kinematic
make object box 4,5,5,5
position object 4,0,6,0
phy make rigid body dynamic box 4
phy set rigid body kinematic 4, 1"

then move the object using for example
Quote: " phy set rigid body kinematic position 4, x#, 6, 0"

the object simply does not get affected by other object collisions or gravity etc

hope this help

I have a question, how would i set it so that the kinematic object dosnt do collision/detections on the character controller?
