hello... this is a very simple slug that i made in Blender...
if anyone can animate this for me so that it looks like it is moving... that would be great... thank you... i have attatched the .blend file

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

find a slug and study how it mooves.
you should be able to do this with keframed locations/rotations

i don't know how to animate things though... what program can i use (blender is 2 confuzing for animation... i've tried...)

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

its simple.
press the down key until it ses 1 in the bottem left of the 3d window
salect the object and press i then silect locrot.
press the right key
repeat until its moved to were you want it.

i may make you a simple fk rig to make the body move.
with armatures the anim system works exactly the same it just takes longer to setup.

vidio tuts are invaluble for lerning blender. thars also the noob to pro wicibook.

to render a anim just set the start and end frame. then hit anim.
download the ipo cuves vidio from blender.org

ok... but now... how do i export it... should i export it as a .3DS?

to dbp?

blenders .x exporter dosent usaly work.
try 3ds i think this exporter works all the time

if it is for dbp then the moving anim should be dun via programing.
you could make a scworm anim and play that wile moving

Use jpg images please >_< bmps are 2mb+ when it comes to screnshots

animate... ok... here is what i did...

i made it say 1, then i hit i locrot
and then i hit the right arrow
and then i took the slug, and i pulled his tail in a little bit,
and continued this process till the tail was as far as i wanted it... and then i wanted to see if it would work, so i hit anim.... and it wouldn't move at all...

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

if you want the tail to wiggle/change sise you wil haft to rig it

il do a simple rig for you somtime. im working on a image at the moment

ive just downloaded your slug.
it has a huge number of problems with it.

main ones
caps meens most inporternt

DONT USE SUBSERF ON A MODAL YOU INTEND TO EXPORT or apply it befor exporting
you need to use alot more geomatry in your cage mesh.
shodent need a subsrf level more than 1 or 2 for a modal like this

here ive sorted out the subserf and made a simple anim.
press alt-a to play it

you will haft to lern about ipo curvs to be able to make the anim longer.

make shore you are ysing 2.43 it can crash if you open new versen blend files in erler versons

you could try using a difarent format. try .x it dosent usaly work. theres a sticy. folo this wen you export direct x files.
hav you tried setting polygon culling to 0 the modal may be inside out!

for a modal to be exported with textures you HAFT to uv map it.
