Can anyone point me towards any decent(free)3D texturing or UV mapping programs that would be suitable for a complete beginner.

Also: Can Someone give me a link to a good tutorial on UV mapping.

Thanks,
Dup

You can search for tutorials on all these programs. Just fill in the blanks in your search engine.

From the way you are talking it sounds like you are new to 3D modeling. I would suggest you learning how to model properly before you dive into UV mapping. If you dont you will become frustrated and give up. The learning curve for this kinda of stuff is pretty high. But with practice and working with small objects first and then working up to the bigger ones you can achieve awesome results.

I wish you the best.

Thanks I've downloaded Lithunwrap and I'm now downloading your Tutorial.[Edit] I downloaded the wrong tutorial but I found The Right one and The DownLoad link is broken.[EndEdit]

I'll let you know how I get on.
