I would like to know if someone can tell me where to find A GOOD 2D PLATFORM TUTORIAL (like making a mario type of game )...

While we don't have any tutorials, we do have a collection of source codes. I wrote an example of a 2D mario (styled) game basis a few weeks back for somebody else. It was written in DB but you should be able to get it working in DBpro (i've not tested it -sorry) with a little work.

You can find the code here. (about 1/2 way down the page) in the colision section
