I've been skimming through a few ideas recently, but I've finally got a good idea to follow through with. Mental Snowboarding!
mental snowboarding is a game where you have to snowboard downhill, collecting points and trying to beat the other snowboarders.
it is too early in development for a demo but i have 2 screens showing the character and the environment so far.

OK Van-B, it's been a long day, your eyes are probably playing tricks on you.

Does that cloud and sky move for anyone else? - I mean I'm focussing on the clouds and they appear to be moving, not literally, more like an optical illusion.

Can folk focus on them and let me know if I am in fact mental, like the title suggests .


It looks like a good start, I really enjoyed writing my snowboard game, once you can do jumps it get's really interesting and fun. Keep it up, snowboarding games are always worth the effort IMO.

I could probably sort you out with a good snow texture if you like, been adding to my library recently.

Actually, if I try to focus on the clouds, they also seem to be moving for me! Just like an optical illusion. Looks crazy, hehe. I wonder what it is that's playing the trick in it.

@Blobby 101: This game looks like fun

@Van B: The clouds appear to be moving if you stare at them long enough (and think that they are going to move)! It's like an optical illusion... creepy.
