Ok I did search, but didn't find anything. However does anyone know how well 3D World Studio works as far as making items and settings for FPSC?

I'm trying to find out if anyones actually used it, and if there are any problems. because even on the link you posted there seems to be a few people having collision problems. However thanks Domray, I didn't see that thread when I did my search earlier.

Well I think that we can safely say that someone has used it in FPSC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twic3tKIBgw

I've made a few rooms with 3DWS and successfully imported them into FPSC with full collision and CSG. I haven't attempted a full size level but might have a go at this over the weekend with a fairly simple map just to see how it goes using Reality's guide.

I'll post results / comments once I've made some progress with this as I'm interested to see the potential being realised here.

I'm interested in this also. How did you bring in the 3DWS geometry with textures into the FPSC editor?

Did you import the level as an x file or as a giant segment? The thing is I once created a level using another external level editor, Deled to be exact, and brought the level in as an x file. It looked great, but enemies fell through the floor. Everything else acted like it was supposed to (dynamic physics entities etc) but as soon as the game started, swoosh, all enemies, through the floor to the invisible death boundary.

@lon

did you set the collision to polygon collision? if the level was box collision or anythihng like that, then it would explain your problem...
