Why on earth would you need to play a game in safe mode?

In Windows Safe Mode, Windows does not load the Direct X Dll's thus making it impossible unless you told Windows to load them.

I am not sure how to do that, but i am sure if you research on the internet you will find away.

The other things is your video drivers aren't loaded in safe mode, it's for diagnostics only, so there's a number of things not loaded, why not just load normally, and create you a new account. then Edit the msconfig to not load certain items, or hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and shut stuff dwon you don't need?

Stupid people are like Slinkies, it's fun to watch them fall down stairs. And some times you need to give them a push.

Using your PC in safe mode because it runs faster is not a good idea. You should look at the root cause of the slowness first.

If your computer has problems running the basics, it may be time to upgrade. Even if you were able to bypass some safe mode features and load direct x and your vid card, if your comp can't run your virus scanner, it wont be able to run the FPSC editor. Either your tore up from the floor up, with viruses that are devouring resources, or your computer can't be making the minimum req for running FPSC. There should be no reason on Earth why running anything more then the explorer shell should cause that much loss to performance. Theres people around here with some pretty old rigs that can at least run the editor. Just seems like theres much deeper problems afoot.

List your computers specs so we might have a better overview of the situation please.

It seems fine but is like sticky it when u press a button it holds in for 4 seconds and loads up the program in like ages.

It worked before the pc was slow. my specs are good enough

And what are your specs?

Include Processor, Video Card, Ram, Operating System. And what version of FPSC you are using.

if your computer run faster in safe mode than the normal mode maybe you have a big probleme with your systeme, befor making anything on a unstable systeme, maybe its a good idea to fix it befor making anything.

try to download hijackthis run it and disable all the think you don't know or you don't want to run at the statup.

personnally i don't think any programe as to run at startup, why on earth the programmer put programme in the run forlder or make it run at startup ( ok i talk about personnal computer not compagnie )

First if anything can fix it, format your pc and reinstalle windows on it maybe it will be better becose you mat have a lots of infection in your pc ( spyware and virus ) that may cause your pc run like very slower than usual.

Safe mode are only used to fix some probleme with the c and not run something. If you want to run a programme in safe mode, you have to go in the services msc thing and load everything you want everytime, "video card driver ( if you load the video card, you have to reboot and if you reboot again in safe mode, the videocard will be disable again ), Dirext X dll ( same as the video card), all the sound setting if you have a good sound card, etc..

good luck

If you can, I can!

also, run a virus scan, slowdowns like that can easily be caused by a virus, or 2.

download adaware SE Personal and some other things of the sort and spend about a week scanning your pc for virus's as most of them wont show in taskman, or you could download process explorer which is similar to Taskman but alot more powerful and often shows the virus's.

best of the rest!
