Greetings all I'm back from the dead and up and running, but I was wondering what upgrades should I download? The last time I was on we got our first upgrade and it screwed allot of peoples work up, so I was just wondering what would be the best tested and bug free upgrades, so I don't throw myself into a fit of frustration. Thanks guys.

Download 1.04, but make sure you get rid of the old updates first, and do what they tell you to do to your model packs on the download page. Great to see your back, I love your work!

W/b D13. Telling you what patch to use is kinda iffy man. Your best bet is to make copies of your fpsc folder, and try out some of the later patches.

But nice seein ya

I would download v1.05 RC2.It is the most stable version I have found IMO.
You can search the Product Chat forum for the various threads that will tell you more about what the upgrades do.
Some of the cool stuff:
Save/load
fog
If you remove an entity/segment from the map when you save/test build your level it removes the entity/segment from that level...
i.e. no more worrying about having a bunch of stuff in your level that you don't want.
Lightmapping improvements.
Some scripting commands have been added and now you can have dula wielding weapons (although Butters could do it before with v1).
Welcome back. It's good to see you are back around. You have been missed.

Somebody's gotta be a comedian...I consider myself a good speller but a boatload of pain medicine and lack of sleep can catch up with anybody.
It me be coincidence but almost every time I have ever spelled a word wrong there has been a considerate forum member who posts to let me know...Thanks.
For the record I did mean dual wield...as in two weapons at the same time.
And I will reiterate (that's a big word that means retype what I typed before) that,in my opinion,V1.05 RC2 is the best version yet.
FPSC is shaping up to be a fine engine.

Just a heads up...I think i saw a post in the Models and Media forum about someone wanting to pay to have characters made for their game.
That might be right up your alley.
I still like that level you made where all of the bad guys screamed "Infidel!" when they saw me.
Some people have posted a lot of cool stuff while you were away...there's some good media for download in the Models and Media forum...like a dragon, spiders and some other cool stuff...and Loc's school daze model pack.

Oh,I personally took care of him.He was the first person I gave a permanant ban to after becoming a mod.
And he did a horrible job of impersonating you...as soon as he made his first post I got e-mails from forum members who knew it wasn't you.
What he did was no different than identity theft in my view so i made sure he wouldn't be doing that anymore.

Yeah the new dust decal looks really [mod edit]. I suggest going into the gamecore/decals/dust folder and changing it back.

You can't really duel wield unless you have special weapons which you can get in model pack 6, on the main fpscreator website.
