It is a rare thing to find a fully animated character going for free. Think about it. You spend a relatively long time modelling something, you make the effort to rig it, you key frame some animations, all for someone you have never met to use with no credit given to you.

However, this thread has a long list of many websites that contain free models textures and more besides. Maybe you'll be lucky. Click here I also suggest doing a search for 3d models in google, and this forum.

Male modelling isn't just for gays! In fact, if 3DS Max was free, everyone would do it.

learn to modal/anamate or be propared to pay somone to do it for you. it takes alot of tome to make good modals with animations. none wants to give away this mutch time for nothing.

Dark Matter has some okay models that are animated. It came free with darkbasic pro for me and if you have it I'd look there first. Next I believe alot of people use the dwarf model here http://www.psionic3d.co.uk/news.php(listed under free stuff) made by Psionic. There are also a few good tutorials here if you want to learn.

Animating’s quite easy. you just need some practice. what you are trying to do is nothing compared to what im trying to do. that’s why im having problems with it. lol
I mostly do high poly modelling

sorry if that sounded offensive, was not intentional. I was tired wen I posted that. Im trying to make a game out of a story I wrote. its going to turn into a lifetime project.
ital have pre rendered cut scenes with multiple characters talking. so there’s tons of rigging to do. threes also a planet 100 times bigger than the sun to modal. this will take years. its the main aria of the game.
what modals/ animations do you need. I might be able to convert my base modal into it if it’s a humanoid corrector. then it would be easy for you to animate the modal
sorry if I offended you. no offence meant
I fegot what thread I was replying to i guess I shodent reply wen im tired

no... it didn't sound offensive... i waz tired too... and i didn't really feel like talking to n e body... so i prolly sounded pissy... i don't really NEED any models... but for my game, i am looking for a cartoonish like look... perferably a boy...

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

If you search the FPSC models and media forum you will find a few free animated characters.
Animated characters and animated weapons are,in my opinion, the two most difficult types of models to make so you won't find as many free ones as you might like.
It's a little more difficult than making a crate.
But you will find a few animated characters if you look around for them.
